Analytical Scientist

Syremis Therapeutics is seeking a highly skilled analytical scientist.

The candidate will be responsible for hands-on analytical work, method development and validation, and technical troubleshooting in collaboration with internal departments and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods (HPLC, LC-MS, GC) to support R&D and manufacturing.

• Conduct analytical testing and troubleshoot methods as needed throughout product development.

• Operate, calibrate, and maintain analytical instruments including HPLC, LC-MS, Dissolution, NMR, and UV systems.

• Prepare and review technical documentation such as validation protocols, technical reports, and deviation reports.

• Ensure compliance with GMP/GLP standards and internal quality procedures.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Formulation, and Chemical Development teams, as well as CROs and CMOs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical analytical laboratories, with emphasis on new product development, technology transfer, or commercial manufacturing.

• Proven hands-on experience with chromatographic techniques (HPLC/LC-MS/GC) and analytical method development and validation.

• Proficiency with data acquisition systems such as Empower, ChemStation, or Chromeleon.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with a commitment to data integrity and regulatory compliance.
