Mid Software Engineer (.NET | Real-Time Systems)

We are seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to join a multidisciplinary R&D team developing advanced real-time control and monitoring systems. The role involves working on complex software solutions that integrate electro-optical devices, sensors, and real-time data streams within mission-critical environments.

This position offers hands-on involvement across system layers, including backend logic, device communication, and user interface control, while collaborating closely with system engineers, electronics, optics, and algorithm teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain .NET-based backend and desktop applications for real-time systems
• Integrate and control ONVIF-compatible devices, including PTZ cameras and sensor systems
• Implement event-driven architectures across UI, business logic, and device layers
• Develop and maintain multi-threaded and asynchronous workflows
• Design abstractions for heterogeneous devices and communication protocols
• Work with real-time data and streaming pipelines (e.g., RTSP to WebSocket)
• Implement mathematical and geometric logic such as coordinate transformations and rotations
• Improve and refactor existing codebases to enhance stability, performance, and maintainability
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including system, electronics, optics, and QA
• Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and code reviews

• Languages: C# (.NET 6–9), JavaScript
• Frameworks: WPF, WinForms, ASP.NET Core
• Protocols: ONVIF, RTSP, WebSockets
• Architecture: Event-driven and layered architectures
• Concurrency: Multithreading, async/await
• Mathematics: Vector math, rotations, coordinate systems
• Tools: Git, Jira, Visual Studio

Requirements

• 3–6 years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem
• Experience with real-time systems, hardware integration, or device control
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and multithreading concepts
• Ability to understand, maintain, and improve complex existing systems
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams

Advantageous Experience

• Experience with ONVIF, PTZ cameras, or electro-optical systems
• Background in engineering, physics, or signal processing
• Experience with WPF UI architecture and event-driven design
• Familiarity with networking, streaming technologies, or geospatial systems
• Exposure to defense, surveillance, or mission-critical environments
