Mechanical Design Engineer

Beth-El Industries Ltd. (www.beind.com) develops and manufactures advanced multidisciplinary air filtration and air-conditioning systems, marketed in over 80 countries worldwide.

We are seeking a motivated and talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Development Department.

Responsibilities:

• Participation in new product development and design of mechanical parts and assemblies for multidisciplinary systems.
• Design of parts for manufacturing: machining, sheet metal processing, casting.
• Perform engineering calculations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Design of production devices.
• Support manufacturing processes, troubleshoot design-related issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Perform any other related tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a well-known university (Technion / Tel Aviv / Ben-Gurion).
• Strong technical skills and basic knowledge of mechanical design.
• Ability and willingness to learn.
• Teamwork skills and good interpersonal communication.
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical design
• Knowledge of CAD software (experience with SolidEdge – an advantage).
• Basic ability in managing engineering projects.
• Experience in working with subcontractors and customers – an advantage.
• Proficiency in technical English – an advantage.
