Full Stack Team Lead

Travelier is a travel-tech company revolutionizing ground and sea transportation for travelers worldwide. Our network of digital platforms enables customers to seamlessly purchase intercity tickets for ferries, buses, and trains — simplifying travel in even the most complex markets. We’re on a mission to make global travel stress-free, connected, and accessible.

We are looking for a passionate Full Stack Team Leader to join Bookaway, one of our platforms. In this role, you will lead a team working on the company’s core product and its expansion to support new markets. You will have a major impact across the R&D department, and will be part of its leadership.

Your responsibilities will include leading and mentoring engineers, designing & implementing complex architecture, and executing solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, and security while following best practices.

You will take ownership of features from initial design through architecture planning, implementation, and deployment to production. You will set the bar of excellence for the engineers to follow.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record in designing robust systems and scalable, complex architectures.
• Proven experience driving excellence across the projects you’ve led.
• Proficiency with NodeJS.
• Experience in React, Express, NextJS, Typescript.
• Experience in relational & non-relational databases.
• Deep knowledge of Web application fundamentals such as SSR, CSR, and bundle size optimizations – a plus.
