Role description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Optics Engineer, based in Yoqneam Illit. The role involves end-to-end ownership of the development of our next system generations and of the existing optical hardware. The Optics Engineer will work as part of the hardware team on a novel tissue-imaging microscope and collaborate closely with software and algorithm teams to ensure robust system integration and performance. The position requires a system-level perspective and a hands-on approach to advancing LiteBC’s non-invasive blood analysis technology.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the development of the company’s next-generation systems.
• Building and calibrating complex optical systems, that include free space & fiber optics, motion elements and Ergonomics
• Owning all system interfaces between the hardware components and the Algo & SW teams.
• Monitoring system performance

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of hands on experience in designing and building free space optical systems.
• Optical engineering degree (electro optics/optics, physics, mechanical engineering or other relevant degree)
• Proven ability of developing new optical systems.
• Definition of optical and performance requirements
• Characterization of system performance
• Advantage: coding experience, fiber optics
