A young startup has developed an innovative software platform that allows any hardware manufacturer (B2B) to easily connect all their devices to the cloud without complex adaptations or additional hardware components, enabling a shift from a one-time product sales model to a recurring subscription model.
Located in central Israel (near a train line), the company offers a hybrid work model and employs a few dozen people, most of whom are based in Israel.
Raised millions of dollars from a leading venture fund, with a working product and paying customers.
The role includes:
- Backend development in Ruby on Rails, with some Python
- Reporting to the VP of Development
- Working with a tech stack including Ruby on Rails, Postgres, Redis, and AWS
Requirements:
- 5 years of backend development experience in Ruby on Rails or Python
- Extensive experience in building complex and scalable backend systems
- Able to embrace new technologies and understand business needs
- Experience with public cloud environments
- Experience with DevOps a plus
