We are looking for:

Robotics & Electronics Engineer

This role involves board design, bare metal programming, and robotics software engineering across the range of our robotic systems (ground rovers, weapons systems, etc.)

Macushla is an Israeli hard tech company developing advanced, field-proven robotics for the defense industry. We design and build specialized ground robots and remote-controlled weapon systems trusted by the Israeli military for missions from urban combat to border security.

What You'll Do:

Build on a broad range of engineering domains, including: 

 - Electronics & board design

 - Baremetal firmware

 - Robotics control

 - Actuator integration

 - Networking & communication protocols

 - Sensor integration

What We're Looking For:

* Very hands-on approach (you will get dirty) 

* Strong electronics intuition from the p-well to DNS

* Proven experience designing PCBs in KiCAD or Altium

* Strong knowledge in embedded development (RP2040, ESP32, STM32, etc.)

* Strong networking skills

* Experience in sensor integration

* 3+ years experience in a systems programming language (ideally C++) in a production in environment

* Strong knowledge in scripting languages like Python and Bash

* Practical experience with motors / motor drivers (especially BLDC)

* Practical experience with sensor characterization, evaluation, and integration

Huge advantage (these will put you at the front of the line):

* Strong knowledge in RF / SDRs

* Experience with military standards and regulation (MIL-STD-822e, MIL-HDBK-217f, etc.)

Nice-to-have:

* Experience in CAD software

* Experience working with message-passing frameworks like ZMQ, ROS, MQTT, etc.

* Tactical experience
