Full Stack Engineer

Software Engineer (Full-Stack) -Part-Time (50%), Remote | Equity-First

Rizolv is building an AI-powered platform for mental-health role-play and communication skills practice using emotionally responsive avatars and real-time voice interactions. We’re a small, focused founding team, and we’re looking for a hands-on full-stack engineer to help us build and ship core product capabilities.

You’ll be a key member of our founding team, taking a hands-on role in building a truly exciting product end to end — from architecture and infrastructure to backend and frontend. You’ll work closely with the founders, have high autonomy, and take part in major product and technical decisions.

This is a part-time, fully remote role (~50%) with equity-only compensation until our first fundraising (we expect to raise within the next few months). After the seed round, the role will transition to a salary + equity structure, and your options will continue vesting throughout.

Our technologies: 

• Real-time, low-latency experiences: WebSocket + WebRTC communication
• Full-stack features across Python + TypeScript
• AI-powered flows using modern LLM models, tools, and techniques
• (Bonus domain) Avatar experiences: TTS / STT, real-time streaming, voice agents, interactive sessions

• Full-stack experience (frontend + backend, product-grade delivery)
• Strong Python and TypeScript
• Proven experience with WebSockets and/or WebRTC
• Experience integrating AI models (LLMs), and building with AI tooling (streaming, function calling/tool use, structured outputs, evals, etc.)
• Comfortable owning tasks end-to-end: design → implementation → testing → shipping

• Work with avatars, animation/video pipelines
• TTS / STT systems (or voice SDKs)
• Real-time audio streaming and low-latency UX
• Prior work in health / mental-health products (or sensitive domains)
