Role Description: Field Services Engineer (Full-Time, On-Site & Field)

Location: Sharon District, Israel

Zing Energy is seeking a highly motivated Field Services Engineer to join our growing technical team. In this role, you will provide on-site technical support, system diagnostics, and preventive maintenance for renewable energy systems. You will be a key player in delivering high-quality customer service and ensuring the performance and reliability of cutting-edge energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar and storage systems
• Provide technical support and training to customers and internal teams
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues in real-time, escalating as necessary
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance
• Document service activities, generate reports, and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, operations, and engineering
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards

Qualifications

• Chief Electrician - MUST
• Fluent in Hebrew & English - MUST
• Willingness to travel for training in China (one week every 6 months) - MUST
• Proven experience in field service or technical support, ideally in the energy sector
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices
• High-level customer service and communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field - Advantage
• Experience with renewable energy technologies (solar, BESS, inverters) is a significant advantage
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites
