Middle IT Project Manager(part-time)

Project overview

The project focuses on developing an innovative, intuitive, and parking system. The solution is designed to be easy to install, regardless of existing infrastructure, while incorporating the latest technology in payment options.

• At least 3 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, preferably in product development or system enhancement;
• Strong understanding of software development processes and system architecture, with experience managing technical projects;
• Experience with maintaining and scaling products, including improving and rewriting legacy code;
• Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, effectively managing project timelines and prioritizing operational issues;
• Strong problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on quickly addressing daily operational challenges;
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana) and version control systems;
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders efficiently;
• Upper-intermediate level of English;
• Fluent in Hebrew.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Oversee the continued growth and evolution of the product, ensuring the seamless integration of new features while maintaining system stability;
• Manage the rewriting and improvement of legacy functionalities to improve performance, user experience, and scalability;
• Monitor and address daily operational issues, ensuring swift resolution to minimize disruptions and maintain system uptime;
• Act as a liaison between the client and the technical teams, ensuring clear communication of requirements, progress, and feedback;
• Develop and maintain project schedules, aligning technical improvements with the overall business goals and product vision;
• Prioritize technical debt, collaborating with the development team to improve legacy code and focus on scalable system growth;
• Conduct regular system reviews and gather feedback from users and stakeholders to identify areas for enhancement;
• Lead the project using Agile methodologies, ensuring iterative delivery and continuous improvement;
• Document progress, issues, and solutions, maintaining accurate records of both development and operational tasks;
• Coordinate third-party integrations and dependencies, ensuring smooth collaboration with external vendors and teams;
• Evaluate risks, proactively addressing challenges to ensure the product stays on track to meet both short-term and long-term objectives.
