Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Engineer (Manual QA) based in Ramat Gan. The Quality

As a Manual QA Engineer at Kazuar, you will take a hands-on role in ensuring each release of our hybrid hardware-software cybersecurity platform meets the highest standards of quality.

You will be responsible for building and executing comprehensive system and integration test plans that cover the entire embedded product lifecycle - from device-level validation to end-to-end user workflow verification across complex, multi-component environments.

What We’re Looking For:

• Define and maintain test scope, coverage, and overall testing strategy, including customer-like scenarios that reflect real-world usage.
• Identify key metrics to measure product performance, reliability, and stability, and use them to drive continuous improvement.
• Execute manual test executions across sanity, regression, and performance levels.
• Explore and adopt new testing technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency and depth.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product, and hardware teams to analyze logs, debug issues, and reproduce complex field scenarios.
• Conduct benchmarking and performance evaluations, including power management and resource utilization analysis, and provide detailed test reports and actionable insights.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in testing embedded or hybrid hardware-software products - must.
• Strong experience with Linux systems, including debugging user-space applications, analyzing logs, and using system tools - must.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, routing, VPN, firewalls, etc.).
• Experience with test management and documentation tools, especially the Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence) and Xray.
• Familiarity with performance diagnostic tools and emulators, such as tcpdump, and packet simulation utilities.
• Experience working with power management tools (e.g., APC, ATEN, or similar).
