Machine Learning Engineer

A data-focused startup developing AI-based and advanced algorithmic technology that enables app owners to reach the most relevant users by predicting interest in real-time and analyzing massive-scale data.

The company is based in Tel Aviv near the train station, operates a hybrid model with two work-from-home days per week, and employs dozens of people.

The role –

• Lead the Machine Learning Engineering (MLE) team with a focus on engineering tasks in ML
• Support all technical aspects of research, including:
• Creating and managing datasets
• Training and fine-tuning models
• CI/CD and deployment of models to production
• Model lifecycle management (versioning, testing, rollout, monitoring)
• Building supporting tools for Data Science teams
• Work extensively with Python, SQL, Spark, Flink, Ray, Dask
• Manage ML infrastructure including GPU cluster scaling, distributed training, inference infrastructure
• Oversee model performance, monitoring, observability, dashboards, alerts, and feature stores
• Handle embeddings, VectorDB, and MPP frameworks
• Implement strategies for code versioning, model rollout, disaster recovery, and performance tracking

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning
• Hands-on development experience with Python
• Experience with Spark and/or Flink development
