Head of Automation

🚀 Head of Automation | Mobile Gaming Startup (Tel Aviv)

We’re looking for an experienced Head of Automation to build, lead, and scale the automation function for a fast-growing mobile gaming startup.

This is a key leadership role, combining hands-on expertise with strategic ownership, in a company developing casual mobile games with a strong international footprint.

• Own the automation strategy end-to-end across mobile products
• Design, build, and scale test automation frameworks (primarily for mobile)
• Lead and mentor automation engineers across distributed teams
• Work closely with engineering, product, and QA to ensure high-quality releases
• Drive best practices for CI/CD, test coverage, stability, and scalability
• Be hands-on when needed, especially in early stages

• 6+ years of experience in QA / Automation, with at least 2+ in a leadership role
• Strong hands-on background in test automation for mobile applications
• Experience building automation from scratch or scaling existing frameworks
• Proven ability to lead distributed teams
• High technical ownership, problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail
• Experience in gaming or consumer mobile products – a big plus
