Senior Backend / Tech Lead

🎗️🎗️I'm looking for a Senior Backend Engineer/Tech Lead with strong technical leadership DNA to take a key role in a deep, meaningful modernization journey.

This is not a “feature factory” role - the right candidate will build the next generation of a large-scale platform.

It’s a high-impact position with real ownership over architecture, system design, and long-term engineering decisions — plus a clear path toward technical and people leadership.

📍 Hasharon area | Hybrid

• You’ll join a large-scale modernization initiative, transforming a complex, production-critical monolith into a cloud-native, distributed microservices architecture
• You’ll be a hands-on technical leader, shaping how things are built — not just what is built
• You’ll influence architecture, engineering standards, testing strategies, and CI/CD
• You’ll work across multiple teams and systems that run at real scale
• You’ll have space to lead, mentor, and grow into a formal leadership role

• Designing and developing core backend services using Python and Node.js
• Leading architectural decisions in a microservices-based environment
• Driving system decomposition, scalability, and reliability efforts
• Defining and enforcing production-grade testing practices
• Improving and influencing CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborating closely with architects, product, and senior stakeholders
• Acting as a technical anchor for complex initiatives

• 5+ years of hands-on backend development experience
• Strong experience with Python and Node.js
• Proven background in distributed systems and microservices
• Solid understanding of testing beyond unit tests
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and production environments
• High engineering standards, ownership mindset, and systems thinking
• Natural technical leader — even if you haven’t held a formal title yet

• Experience with C# / .NET
• Background in system modernization / monolith decomposition
• Previous mentoring or technical leadership experience
