Lead Software Engineer – Web Systems (Defense)

Role Overview

A senior technical leadership role responsible for leading the design and development of complex, mission-critical Web-based systems within a defense environment.

The role combines hands-on Full Stack development with technical leadership, architectural ownership, and close collaboration with system engineering teams in a multi-disciplinary project.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical leadership of Full Stack Web development activities
• Design, development, and integration of large-scale Web systems
• Requirements analysis, system understanding, and interface definition between subsystems
• Development according to approved work plans and system definitions
• Enforcement of coding standards, code conventions, and best practices
• Performing regular code reviews and mentoring development team members
• Authoring technical design, architecture, and system documentation
• Active participation in technical reviews and project meetings
• Integration, system testing support, and troubleshooting
• Bug fixing and continuous improvement of system stability and performance
• Close collaboration with software developers and system engineers throughout the project lifecycle

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in C# development
• Proven experience in a technical lead / team lead role
• Strong experience in Full Stack Web development
• Experience working on large-scale, complex systems
• Hands-on experience with React, including React Hooks
• (useState, useEffect, useRef, etc.)
• Experience with state management using Redux
• Server-side development experience and work with backend services
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience with WebSocket-based communication
• Experience working with WebRTC
• Experience with video-based systems
• Strong understanding of software architecture
• Proficiency with GIT
• Experience integrating map-based components
• B.Sc. in Software Engineering / Computer Science / Electrical & Computer Engineering – advantage
