Job Description:

A Senior Cyber Security Engineer for a role that combines systems architecture design with hands-on technical work.

The position includes leading and building secure-by-design environments for advanced defense projects, in cloud and hybrid environments, from the design phase through full implementation.

Responsibilities:

Design and lead security architectures for Cloud environments (AWS / Azure) and hybrid environments from the ground up.Deploy, implement, and fine-tune next-generation Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet) and Cloud WAF solutions.Manage advanced cloud security platforms (such as Wiz, Prisma Cloud) and native security services of cloud providers.Implement and manage EDR/XDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne) at an expert level, including server hardening.Design and implement security controls for applications and APIs as part of the overall system architecture. Provide professional guidance and consultancy to R&D and DevOps teams, and implement Security by Design principles throughout all project phases.

Requirements:

6+ years of experience in Cyber Security Engineering.

Proven experience in designing and configuring enterprise-grade Firewalls and network infrastructures – mandatory.

Hands-on experience in securing AWS or Azure environments.

Experience in implementing and managing EDR/XDR solutions in an organizational environment.

Ability to produce security architecture designs and technical documentation for complex systems.

Advantages:

Experience in AI/ML Security or LLM protection (Guardrails).

Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or vendor certifications (PCNSE, AWS Security Specialty).Familiarity with security standards such as NIST 800-53/171, ISO 27001.
