Chemical / Mechanical Engineer (Hands-on Role)

LiGenerate is a deep-tech startup developing an innovative process for recycling lithium-ion batteries. We are looking for a highly motivated Chemical or Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team.

The Role

This is a hands-on position focused on practical engineering work, experimentation, and scale-up activities. You will be closely involved in operating and improving processes, working with lab and pilot-scale equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Hands-on work with chemical and mechanical systems
• Operation, testing, and optimization of reactors and related equipment
• Supporting scale-up from lab to pilot systems
• Data collection, analysis, and technical documentation

Requirements

• BSc in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Strong hands-on mindset and willingness to work in the lab/workshop
• Practical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a startup environment
