Backend Tech Lead

A successful fintech company developing an AI-driven analytic platform for the financial sector.

The company serves banks and credit companies globally, with approximately 300 employees worldwide (around 200 in Israel). Located within walking distance from public transportation, operating a hybrid work model (2 days from home).

The Role

• Lead and manage a Backend engineering team developing the AI platform
• Hands-on development in Python, focusing on Microservices, distributed systems, and AWS-based infrastructure supporting AI-driven applications

Requirements:

• 7 years of software R&D experience, including 2 years in a leadership role managing backend engineering teams
• Strong expertise in backend development, including microservices architecture, distributed systems, and cloud-native design on AWS
• Proficiency in Python for building scalable backend services and integrating AI components
• Hands-on experience with generative AI technologies, including LLMs, RAG pipelines, embeddings, and agent frameworks
• Familiarity with AI development ecosystems, such as AWS Bedrock, LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI APIs, and vector databases
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira) to manage team workflows and deliver high-quality software in fast-paced environments
