Lead QA Engineer

We are seeking a Lead QA Engineer to own QA across our SaaS platform, define strategy, and partner with engineering and product leadership to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and security of mission-critical systems.

·        Own and drive the overall QA strategy, processes, and best practices across the organization

·        Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios

·        Validate UI components and interaction flows across web application suite.

·        Perform hands-on manual testing across web applications, APIs, and backend services

·        Validate functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end workflows

·        Partner closely with engineers and product managers to identify risks early and improve testability

·        Ensure high quality, reliability, and consistency in releases for regulated, customer-facing systems

·        Champion a strong quality culture and continuously improve QA maturity as the company scales

·        4+ years of hands-on QA experience in SaaS cloud environments including both manual and automated testing.

·        Strong hands-on experience with test automation and tools such as Selenium, Postman, SoapUI, or similar

·        Proven experience testing UI, APIs, backend services, and data-intensive systems

·        Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a startup environment

·        Experience in fintech, banking, RegTech, or other regulated industries

·        Familiarity with performance, load, or stress testing tools (e.g., JMeter)

·        Knowledge of security concepts such as authentication, authorization, and secure data handling

• Experience defining QA processes, standards, or frameworks from scratch
