Red Team Lead

ARMORY is an innovative cybersecurity startup specializing in the development and provision of an offensive security platform built to continuously monitor the external attack surface of organizations and its third-parties. Armory delivers a clear, operational view of how attackers could gain access, whether through the organization’s own assets or through your supply chain.

The Armory War Room is an advanced cybersecurity hub where ethical hackers leverage the Armory platform to conduct real-world attack simulations (red team activities) on our client’s environments.

Responsibilities  

• Lead War Room & Customer Engagements - Own and deliver customer-facing War Room operations, including advanced offensive simulations and proof-of-concepts, showcasing the Armory Platform combined with expert Red Team execution. 
• Red Team Engagement Ownership - Define engagement scope, attack objectives, and success criteria; estimate effort and timelines; assign Red Team operations to team members based on skills and availability; and oversee execution to ensure high-quality delivery. 
• Customer-Facing Technical Authority - Act as the offensive security authority in customer engagements, translating business and threat objectives into actionable adversary-driven simulations and outcomes. 
• Operational Execution & Team Leadership - Manage day-to-day Red Team execution, prioritize concurrent engagements, standardize delivery methodologies, and support the professional growth of Red Team members. 
• Future Innovation & Capability Development - Contribute to the foundation of an offensive research and innovation capability, including new attack techniques, adversary emulation scenarios, and advanced simulation methodologies. 

Requirements 

• Hands-On Offensive Expertise - 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong background in red teaming, or adversary emulation. 
• Customer-Facing Authority - Experience leading customer-facing offensive engagements and presenting complex technical findings in a clear, credible manner to technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
• Proven Team Leadership – Demonstrated experience leading Red Team or offensive security teams, including task assignment, mentoring, and ownership of delivery outcomes. 
• Engagement Scoping & Estimation – Proven experience defining engagement scope, estimating effort and timelines, and managing concurrent Red Team operations. 
• Strong Execution & Prioritization Skills – Ability to manage day-to-day operations, balance competing priorities, and deliver consistent, high-quality results under time constraints.

• Relevant certifications (OSCP, CRTP, CRTE, GWAPT) or academic background in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics. 
• Global Team Experience - Experience working with distributed teams or supporting global customers across time zones.
