Data Platform Engineer 229301

We are hiring a Data Platform Engineer to join a leading company in Tel Aviv, as part of a fast-growing data & technology team.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines ingesting data from multiple sources (ERP systems, eCommerce platforms, APIs, files, etc.)
• Develop, optimize, and maintain data lakes and data warehouse environments (Azure Synapse, Snowflake, or similar)
• Collaborate closely with data analysts and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality datasets and support analytical models
• Implement and automate data quality checks, validation processes, and data cleansing routines
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance, data latency, and failures
• Contribute to standardization of schemas, documentation, and pipeline best practices

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data platform development
• Strong proficiency in SQL / PL-SQL and working with structured and semi-structured data (CSV, Parquet, JSON, APIs)
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines using ETL tools or frameworks (e.g., ADF, SSIS, dbt, Airflow)
• Experience with cloud data warehouse platforms such as Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Nice to Have:

• Python or scripting experience
• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud environments
• Familiarity with streaming tools
• Background in retail or omni-channel data environments
