Backend Developer – AI Security Infrastructure (Intermediate)

We’re looking for a hands-on Backend Developer with cyber product experience to join AIdome™, an AI security startup building the control plane for enterprise AI usage.

You’ll work closely with the CTO and Product team to build backend services that sit at the intersection of AI, security, and enterprise infrastructure, including authentication systems, policy enforcement, and secure integrations with leading AI providers.

This is a builder role for someone who has worked on security-aware products (cyber, infra, SaaS, DevSecOps, compliance platforms) and still loves writing backend code.

• Build and maintain Python (Django) backend services for:
• Authentication & authorization flows
• Users, organizations, roles, and policies
• Implement security-first backend patterns common in cyber products:
• RBAC and permission models
• Rate-limiting and abuse prevention
• Secure token/session handling
• Encrypted secrets and audit-friendly logging
• Integrate with AI prompt APIs (OpenAI, Azure AI, Google, Anthropic, HuggingFace / LangChain) through a secure proxy layer
• Help design and maintain PostgreSQL schemas with security and multitenancy in mind
• Collaborate with the CTO and Product team to ship production-grade cyber features
• Write backend tests using Pytest and ensure CI pipelines pass
• Participate in code reviews and follow Git-based workflows (PRs, feature branches)
• Maintain clean, documented internal and external APIs

• 2+ years hands-on experience with Python (Django)
• Strong SQL fundamentals with PostgreSQL
• Experience building backend services used in production environments
• Comfortable working in Linux-based systems

• Experience working on security-focused or infrastructure products, such as:
• Cybersecurity platforms
• Identity & access management (IAM)
• DevSecOps or compliance tools
• Secure enterprise SaaS platforms
• Understanding of security design tradeoffs (not just theory)

• Experience integrating with at least one AI provider:
• OpenAI, Azure AI, Google AI, Anthropic, or HuggingFace

• Hands-on experience with Docker (writing and running Dockerfiles)
• Familiarity with local → staging → production flows

• RBAC and permission modeling
• Secure authentication and token flows (JWT or similar)
• OWASP basics and API security awareness
• Exposure to rate-limiting and policy enforcement

• Git (PR workflows, branching)
• CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)
• Backend testing with Pytest
• API testing tools (Postman or similar)

• Multi-tenant SaaS architectures
• Observability tools (Grafana, ELK, Datadog)
• Message queues (Kafka, SQS)
• Kubernetes basics
• Security scanning tools (Trivy, Bandit, Dependabot)
• Hebrew (bonus, not required)

• A hands-on backend engineer with real cyber product exposure
• Security-aware, but practical and product-minded
• Comfortable owning backend features end-to-end
• Curious about AI infrastructure and emerging security challenges
• Clear communicator who thrives in small, high-trust teams
