WEBINT Analyst

CyberWell is seeking a stellar Content Analyst in the fields of WEBINT/SOCMINT to join our small but growing team! This position is full-time and is available for immediate start. We work in a hybrid format and are in our Tel Aviv office 3 days a week. This position will report to the Head of Research.

About Us

CyberWell is a start-up nonprofit with technology at its core. Together with our strategic partners, our mission is to address online antisemitism and hate in the digital era through driving the enforcement and improvement of hate speech policies across the digital space and empowering efforts against antisemitism with the data that we collect. After launching the first ever open database of online antisemitism in 2022, CyberWell is the premier research, identification, and monitoring center for tracking antisemitism across social media platforms in multiple languages, globally.

About You

A successful candidate will be a detail oriented WEBINT enthusiast who is passionate about analysis and research, likes to identify online trends and hateful users/influencers, and enjoys drawing conclusions and structuring them into well thought out explanations and arguments. You enjoy sticking to step-by-step processes; you like methodical work but are naturally curious and come up with creative questions to understand what you are looking at differently.

We are looking for a trustworthy individual who can manage their time in a hybrid setting, thrives on driving their work forward, and wants to be part of a team that is dedicated to a greater mission.

This position is ideal for someone who has experience in military intelligence, OSINT/WEBINT, or has recently joined the job-market, with relevant courses and skills, and knows that they want to pursue a career in Research, Data Analysis, or Compliance.

Responsibilities of your job include

Analysts work under the direction of the Head of Research. To equip you with the best knowledge for your position, you will be trained on various WEBINT tools and taught by experienced veterans. As an analyst on the research team, you will play an integral role carrying out our monitoring and vetting process. You will pursue deeper areas of research, using qualitative and quantitative analysis to write focused reports, profiles, and other data-based initiatives.

The day-to-day of your job will include

• Reviewing and vetting content as per CyberWell’s methodology
• Data extraction, collection, and analysis (OSINT)
• Flagging trends and patterns
• Cooperation on automated data collection, product, research, etc.
• Writing data-based reports, alerts, and additional content
• Gaining expertise in digital policy compliance and safety

Qualifications

• Identification with CyberWell’s mission
• High-level English
• Hebrew (written and spoken) - additional language (native level, particularly Arabic) – strong advantage
• Previous WEBINT and/or intelligence experience – strong advantage
• Experience in the field of antisemitism, hate speech, or discrimination as a researcher/analyst -advantage
• Proficiency with social network tools and metrics - advantage
