About the Role

As an Economist at Rehovot Dairy, you will play a key analytical and operational role supporting the site’s financial and production performance. The position includes:

• Generating, processing, and analyzing a wide range of reports from information systems
• Collecting and analyzing costing data from production processes
• Performing economic analyses and financial evaluations
• Identifying trends, gaps, and irregularities
• Ongoing responsibility for inventory management control systems
• Ongoing responsibility for input and cost analyses
• Monitoring key business parameters and reporting to management
• Managing multiple interfaces with various functions across the dairy and corporate teams
• Participating in discussions with senior site leadership
• Full‑time position, five days a week, with willingness to work extended hours when needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Business Administration – mandatory
• At least two years of experience as an economist within a team, preferably in a manufacturing environment – mandatory
• High‑level proficiency in Excel – mandatory
• Experience working with SAP – advantage
• Strong analytical skills
• Initiative, flexibility, and a solution‑oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to perform under pressure and high workload
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple complex interfaces
• Willingness to work in a production‑floor environment
