Role Overview

You will build the central nervous system of a large-scale, mission-critical platform.

What you’ll actually do

• Design and develop core backend services (e.g., orders, portfolio-like modules, data processing, activity flows).
• Build event-driven microservices operating at high throughput and real time.
• Integrate with external providers and internal event buses.
• Own data correctness end-to-end: consistency, idempotency, reconciliation, and failure handling.
• Write clean, readable, production-grade code with very high test coverage.
• Provide technical leadership: influence architecture, perform code reviews, and raise the engineering bar.
• Think beyond MVP — design systems that withstand audits, growth, and real-world scale.

Tech Stack

• Backend: Kotlin / Java, Spring Boot (Reactive / Non-Blocking — advantage)
• Architecture: Microservices, Event-Driven Systems
• Messaging: Kafka / Event Streaming
• APIs: REST & GraphQL
• Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch
• Cloud: AWS, Kubernetes (EKS)
• Testing: JUnit, Testcontainers, E2E mindset

Who we’re looking for

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and data integrity.
• Experience working with high-load, real-time environments.
• Strong ownership mindset — you don’t ship code you wouldn’t trust in production.
• Sharp thinking, precision, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Nice to have

• Experience with complex, real-time domain platforms.
• Experience introducing new backend modules into large existing systems.
• Background in reactive programming.
