Role Description

We are looking for an organized, hands-on, and detail-oriented Operations Associate to support our Operations & Production team, and help drive operational excellence across our supply chain, logistics, and production workflows. This role is central to ensuring our products move smoothly from manufacturers in China all the way to customers and partners globally.The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining strong communication with suppliers and internal teams.

1. Supplier & Production Management (China)Track and monitor production ordersOversee quality control and sample approvalPlan and ensure adherence to production timelinesSolve production issues: delays, defects, material changes, MOQ challenges, etc.Maintain ongoing, professional communication in EnglishImplement product and packaging updates with manufacturers

2. International Logistics & Shipping ManagementPlan and coordinate shipments via air and seaWork closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and 3PL partnersTrack shipment statuses daily and resolve issues: customs clearance, regulatory approvals, delays, and moreReview shipping invoices and align details with suppliers and logistics partners

3. Inventory & Supply Chain ManagementMonitor inventory levels in local and international warehousesIdentify bottlenecks and escalate operational risksPlan inventory forecasts and replenishment cyclesOptimize inventory levels to balance efficiency and cost

4. Full Operational Support Reduce operational workload through effective daily coordinationTake full ownership of ongoing operational tasksLead and advance operational projects from start to finishEnsure smooth communication between suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams

Qualifications

Must-Have experience in operational or logistics roles within a product-based companyExperience working with international suppliers (strong advantage with China)Very strong English skills (spoken, written, reading)Excellent organizational, tracking, and documentation abilitiesIndependent, proactive, and strong project management skillsUnderstanding of key operational concepts: MOQ, production planning, quality control, import/export documentation, shipping termsAdvantageousExperience in hardware, toys, electronics, or physical product manufacturingFamiliarity with inventory management systems
