Application Security Engineer /AppSec / DevSecOps

We are looking for an experienced Application Security Engineer to lead application security initiatives and work closely with development and DevOps teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead application security (AppSec) across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Collaborate closely with Development and DevOps teams to embed security into CI/CD processes.
• Manage and operate SAST and SCA tools, analyze findings, and guide developers in remediation.
• Work hands-on with Checkmarx for code and dependency scanning.
• Develop automation and security scripts using Python.
• Secure cloud environments with a focus on AWS, including IAM and configuration hardening.
• Work with source control and DevOps tools such as GitLab and Azure DevOps.
• Perform security-focused code reviews and promote secure coding best practices.
• Manage tasks and projects using Azure DevOps and Monday.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Application Security / AppSec / DevSecOps roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines, especially with Azure Pipelines.
• Experience with GitLab and Azure DevOps.
• Strong scripting skills.
• Experience with SAST and SCA tools, including Checkmarx.
• Experience working with Monday.
• Experience in Agile / Scrum environments.
