Controller for a Public Real Estate Company

A leading publicly traded real estate company is seeking a Controller to join its finance team and report directly to the CFO.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Development of annual budgets and work plans
• Preparation of management reports and capital market presentations
• Oversight and responsibility for ISOX processes
• Budget monitoring and oversight of property management companies
• Professional leadership of the accounting department
• Ongoing work with external auditors
• Interaction with external stakeholders: municipalities, appraisers, banks, and clients
• Leading the implementation of AI tools, cybersecurity solutions, and IT systems

Requirements

• Background from one of the Big 4 accounting firms – mandatory
• Minimum of 4 years of experience; prior experience in a similar role is a strong advantage
• Full proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

• Experience in the real estate sector – advantage
• Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work independently
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
