CTO (Co-Founder)

FanVibe is building a real-time interactive audio layer for live sports: giving fans control over how the game sounds (stadium crowd, commentary, ambiance) on top of existing broadcasts. The product will ship as both a consumer experience and a partner-ready SDK for broadcasters/leagues/platforms.

We’re looking for a CTO Co-Founder to own the technical vision and execution: architecture, hands-on delivery, and building toward pilots.

• Live streaming (low-latency) in production: you’ve owned end-to-end delivery, reliability, observability, and real incident-level troubleshooting.
• SDK product experience with real integrations: you’ve built an SDK that other teams integrated, including versioning, backward compatibility, docs, samples, and partner support.
• Hands-on builder + strong architecture judgment: you can write critical code and ship fast with high quality.
• Mobile playback/networking/performance experience: you understand the constraints of mobile streaming/audio playback and can lead delivery of the client experience.
  

• Define and build the end-to-end streaming architecture (ingest, processing/mixing, delivery, playback).
• Create a practical sync strategy for “audio on top of broadcast” scenarios (measurable, stable, pilot-ready).
• Build the FanVibe SDK (integration flow, samples, documentation, release discipline).
• Establish engineering foundations: CI/CD, monitoring, security basics, and release process.
• After funding: hire and lead the initial engineering team.
  

• Deep audio domain expertise (codecs, mixing, FFmpeg/WebRTC/HLS/LL-HLS).
• Sports/live-content familiarity, engagement analytics, experimentation mindset.
• Using GenAI effectively to accelerate delivery.
  

Equity-first (co-founder) until funding, then salary + equity (standard co-founder vesting).
