Head of Master Data

We are looking for an experienced Master Data professional to join our team and play a key role in a large‑scale implementation project. This position is ideal for someone who brings deep expertise in Master Data Management, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to lead cross‑organizational processes in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation Project Support

• Work closely with project teams and implementation partners.
• Integrate Master Data processes with existing legacy systems.
• Lead data migration activities, including data validation, quality checks, exception handling, and closing data gaps.

Data Quality & Governance

• Perform data integrity checks before and after go‑live.
• Monitor ongoing data exceptions and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with supporting systems (Marketing, Master Files, MES, EWM, SF) to ensure data consistency.
• Coordinate with Master Data functional consultants and technical teams.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Translate business needs into clear data requirements.
• Understand the broader business impact of data decisions.
• Work closely with various business units to ensure alignment and data accuracy.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Master Data Management within a large organization — must.
• Significant advantage: experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Strong understanding of business processes (Procurement, Sales, Manufacturing, Finance).
• Hands‑on experience with data management tools and data quality controls.
• Project management skills, including working with multiple stakeholders and meeting deadlines.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and ability to lead cross‑organizational processes.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
