Technical Product Manager

We are looking for a technical product manager to join the team that leads Starknet’s development roadmap.

This role requires a deep understanding of the protocol, strong analytical skills, systems-level mindset, and great communication skills.

You will suggest and define new protocol features, analyze their impact, work closely with internal and external development teams, and communicate these changes to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work with external and internal stakeholders, leading the decision process on Starknet’s protocol changes and additional features
• Write low-level requirements around new features decided on and work with engineering to guarantee accurate execution
• Analyze Starknet’s protocol at a deep logical level to understand how changes affect the entire system.
• Identify architectural challenges and ensure proposed solutions align with the protocol’s strategic direction.
• Communicate Starknet roadmap to stakeholders and collaborate with marketing to craft messaging points Starknet solves.
• Stay updated on cutting-edge technologies and industry trends, contributing to the long-term vision of the protocol.

Core requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of previous experience as a technical product manager or technical architect
• Previous experience as a Software Engineer, Algorithm Developer or Architect.
• Logical understanding of code – ability to read and analyze code to assess system-wide implications (coding is not required).
• Excellent communication skills – ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to both internal and external audiences.
• Strategic mindset – capable of seeing the big picture and understanding the long-term effects of protocol changes.

Nice to have

• Enthusiastic about blockchains and familiar with the crypto space.
• Experience or deep understanding of peer-to-peer systems, cryptography, or advanced mathematical algorithms.
• Experience working with developer communities, open-source projects, or decentralized systems.
