Senior Backend Engineer

We are building the core backend infrastructure behind Check Point’s Browse Management platform. This is a large-scale, cloud-native security system used globally.

As a core team we're responsible for backend services that must be secure, scalable, observable, and highly available. The systems we build operate at global scale and support mission-critical security workflows.

The Role

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will design, build, and evolve backend services that power a large-scale SaaS security platform.

You will work closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams, and play a key role in shaping the next generation of the Browse Management architecture.

• sDesigning, developing, and maintaining backend services powering a largescale SaaS security platfor
• mBuilding secure, resilient, and scalable architectures using modern AWS services such as EKS, EC2, RDS, SQS, CloudFront, and IA
• MDeveloping and optimizing RESTful and eventdriven APIs, backend integrations, and data flow
• sImplementing best practices for monitoring, alerting, and production reliabilit
• yWriting clean, maintainable, and testable code while contributing to engineering best practices and design standard
• sParticipating in architecture and design reviews and collaborating closely across engineering team
• sOwning production quality endtoend, ensuring performance, reliability, and operational excellenc

• nd8+ years of experience in backend or full-stack development for large-scale, cloud-based syste
• ms2+ years of hands-on experience with Python, including FastAPI, Flask, or similar framewor
• ksProven experience building and operating production-grade systems in AWS environmen
• tsStrong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and multi-tenant architectur
• esExperience with relational databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Aurora, and data modeli
• ngExperience with asynchronous processing, message queues such as SQS or Kafka, and event-driven desi
