Senior Backend Developer - 3 days from home

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (3-4 days from home - 1-2 day in the office / Tel-Aviv) who will join our fast-growing company to develop, mature, and scale our product to the next level.

The Senior Backend Engineer will be responsible for the full product development lifecycle, from ideation and architecture through implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring, all while leveraging AI tools. She/he will work with the team to solve problems and overcome obstacles that are unique to scale-up organizations and systems.

We are looking for a proactive, technologically fluent, seasoned and passionate developer with a can-do approach and strong interpersonal skills who thrives in a fast-paced work environment, and is ambitious, persistent, and highly motivated to ship things to production and impact on engineering domain growth.

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for:

Research and design new product components and be responsible for the product health at production

Providing robust, scalable, and reliable infrastructure, to meet our challenging customer needs.

Conduct POCs, research new technologies and paradigms that may be adopted by the organization

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

Scale and make the R&D group the best professional team.

Proactively look for ways to make the system better.

Improve efficiency across development, systems, and processes through an ongoing optimization and adoption of AI agents.

All within a dynamic, Agile-driven development, testing, and CI/CD release cycle — in a fast-growing company.

English - Professional Level (corresponding to B2 at least)

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Backend development

Excellent control of TypeScript (and JavaScript)

Experience with microservices development

Experience with development of SaaS products

Experience with Postgres, MongoDB, Kafka, Redis

Strong fundamental software engineering skills (code practices, design patterns, algorithms, data structures)

Experienced in working with Agile development methodologies

Experience with CI/CD methodology

Excellent problem-solving skills

Significant advantage: structured and methodical approach with AI based development (Cursor)

Advantage: CS formal education

• Advantage: Experience with Angular 16+ (or other modern frontend frameworks)
