Backend Engineer (Network & Security)

About Us

We are an early-stage cybersecurity startup building high-performance systems for large enterprises. Our platform inspects and secures massive volumes of data in real time, operating under strict latency, reliability, and security requirements.

The Role

You will design and build the core services that power our security engine. This is a backend-heavy role with a strong focus on networking, performance, and distributed systems.

What You’ll Do?

1. Design and implement core backend services from scratch
2. Build high-throughput systems that process and analyze network traffic
3. Develop network-aware logic across L3–L7 protocols
4. Optimize for low latency, scalability, and reliability
5. Help define our backend architecture and engineering standards

What We’re Looking For?

1. Strong backend engineering experience
2. Proficiency in Go, C++, or Java (or advanced Python with performance focus)
3. Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, TLS, HTTP/S, DNS)
4. Experience with distributed systems and microservices
5. Performance- and security-oriented mindset
