Java Software Engineer

A leading cybersecurity startup developing a cloud-based SaaS platform that enables automated and scalable identity and access management for enterprise organizations.

The company is based in Tel Aviv (near the train line), has dozens of employees, completed significant funding rounds, and serves a broad range of global clients.

Responsibilities include:

• Backend development primarily in Java (80%) and some Go
• Enhancing and leading core capabilities of the company’s SaaS security product
• Working with Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases (ElasticSearch, MongoDB)
• Building and maintaining Docker- and Kubernetes-based microservices in cloud environments (AWS, GCP)
• Participating in Agile processes, including TDD/BDD and Extreme Programming
• Developing multi-tenant solutions at high scale
• Collaborating with Product Managers, Frontend/Backend Developers, and QA Engineers
• Ownership of software design patterns and advanced infrastructure
• Tech Stack: Java, Go, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Microservices, Multi-Tenancy, CI/CD, TDD/BDD

Requirements-

• Master/bachelor’s degree in computer engineering
• 5 years of experience in Java/Go solutions with software infrastructure and design patterns
• Ability to write high-performance, maintainable, reusable code
• Proficient with Unix/Linux environment
• Experience of more than 3 years with PostgreSQL
• Experience of more than 3 years with no-SQL DB like Elastichsearch, Mongo
• Experience of more than 5 years with Microservices, Docker/Containers, Kubernetes
• Experience in Cloud multi-tenancy systems on AWS and GCP
