If you are a tinkerer, a maker, or a shop-floor expert who loves solving physical problems and seeing a design come to life, we want you on our team.

We need a hands-on builder to take our battery concepts from the computer screen to the lab bench. You will be responsible for fabricating components, assembling prototypes, and running the tests that tell us if we’re on the right track. You’ll work with everything from high-tech 3D printers to traditional plastic welding and chemical lab setups.

• Fabricate & Assemble: Build battery housings and internal components using a variety of materials, specifically metals and plastics (polypropylene).
• Plastic & Metal Work: Perform welding and bending of polypropylene and other materials to create airtight, durable cell enclosures.
• 3D Print Mastery: Operate and maintain 3D printers. You won't just hit "print"—you’ll troubleshoot failed prints, post-process parts (sanding/cleaning), and suggest design improvements for better results.
• Lab Operations: Handle chemicals and materials safely within a lab environment to prepare battery cells for testing.
• Test & Document: Follow experimental protocols to test prototypes. You will be responsible for meticulously logging data and documenting exactly how a prototype was built so we can replicate our successes.

• The "Maker" Mindset: You have a proven track record of building physical things. Whether it's cars, robots, or industrial equipment, you know your way around a shop.
• Material Expertise: Experience working with a wide range of materials (metals, plastics, resins).
• Welding Skills: Specifically, experience or comfort with welding and bending plastics (polypropylene).
• Problem Solvers: When a 3D print fails or a part doesn't fit, you don't just wait for instructions—you figure out why and how to fix it.
• Attention to Detail: You understand that in battery tech, a 1mm mistake or a missed data entry can change the results of an entire experiment.
