MyOps is looking for a GCP Solution Architect to join our global engineering and consulting group. We are experts in the container ecosystem, data analytics, and cloud-native technologies. We don’t just implement technology; we empower our customers to master their digital transformation using the

best of Google Cloud.

As a Solution Architect at MyOps, you will act as our technical beacon. You will work alongside our Principal Consultants to translate business needs into robust GCP roadmaps, ensuring our deliverables meet the highest standards of the Google Cloud Well-Architected Framework.

You will be the "Trusted Advisor" for our clients and a mentor to our Cloud Engineers—balancing hands-on technical leadership with strategic project oversight.

• Technical Leadership: Serve as the authority on GCP tool selection (e.g., Cloud Run vs. GKE, Pub/Sub vs. Kafka), drive complex engineering resolutions, and lead whiteboard design sessions.
• Architectural Integrity: Reconcile technical decisions with broader project goals, ensuring scalable, secure, and cost-optimized solutions on Google Cloud.
• Team Guidance: Lead teams of Cloud Engineers, providing mentorship on Terraform modules, CI/CD pipelines, and GKE best practices.
• Scope Management: Proactively manage engagement scope, identifying technical risks and ensuring alignment with customer expectations.
• Client Partnership: Build deep relationships with customers, challenging assumptions and taking ownership of project deliverables.
• Growth: Identify opportunities to leverage new GCP services (e.g., GenAI/Vertex AI) within engagements and maintain top-tier certifications.

We are looking for someone with strong, but flexible opinions on technical operations and a deep love for the Google ecosystem.

Core Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years in cloud environments with a primary focus on GCP, and 2+ years in a technical leadership role.
• IaC Mastery: 2+ years of experience with Terraform (writing custom modules, state management) or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
• DevOps Practices: Proficiency in building CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and a solid grasp of SRE principles.
• Scripting: Proficiency in Python or Go.

Specialized Expertise (Must have deep experience in ONE of the following):

• Cloud Native / Containers: Deep expertise in GKE (Standard & Autopilot), Cloud Run, Anthos, and Service Mesh (Istio).
• Big Data / Analytics: Proficiency with BigQuery, Dataflow (Apache Beam), Dataproc, and Looker.
• Machine Learning / GenAI: Experience with Vertex AI, Model Garden, Gemini API integration, and deploying ML pipelines on GCP.

Preferred Certifications:

• Google Professional Cloud Architect (Highly Desired)
• Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
• Google Professional Data Engineer
