Tech Lead / ML Lead

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are building a novel, low-cost medical imaging and diagnostics platform designed for large-scale population screening in emerging markets.

The technology is clinically validated, rooted in peer-reviewed research, and is now moving from a successful pilot phase toward national-scale deployment across healthcare centers.

We’re looking for a Tech Lead / ML Lead — someone who doesn’t just implement models, but owns the product, the science, and the execution.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Own the end-to-end AI/ML vision of a medical diagnostics platform 

• Lead development of computer vision & machine learning pipelines for image-based analysis 

• Make architectural decisions across classical image processing vs deep learning 

• Improve accuracy, robustness, and generalization across real-world conditions 

• Work closely with clinical experts, researchers, and hardware teams 

• Drive validation, performance metrics, and iterative improvement 

• Build and mentor a small, high-impact technical team 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong foundations in Machine Learning & Deep Learning 

• Hands-on experience with computer vision systems 

• Experience moving systems from research to production 

• Comfort working with noisy, real-world data 

• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly 

• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership 

Advanced degree strongly preferred:

PhD, MD, or equivalent industry experience in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.
