You’ll join our growing AI/ML domain as a technical leader and hands-on contributor, working alongside experienced engineers and product stakeholders. Your focus will be to drive forward our LLM & ML powered systems enhancing retrieval, building intelligent agents, and delivering high-trust clinical capabilities.

This role blends strategic technical leadership with hands-on development, making it ideal for someone excited to both deliver features today and shape where we go tomorrow.

• Lead the vision and direction of our AI related domains. Understanding the different kinds of data we manage and handle and find potential use cases to leverage them with AI based solution
• Help lead the evolution of our retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architecture, improving accuracy and recall
• Design and implement agentic AI systems using frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar, for document understanding and multi-step reasoning
• Optimize embedding, vector search, reranking, and hybrid retrieval pipelines
• Lead development of LLM prompt strategies, chaining logic, and tool-using agents for dynamic workflows
• Design, test, and monitor our system performance and accuracy metrics
• Be a source of knowledge for the latest  GenAI research and apply cutting-edge techniques to production use cases
• Partner with product and domain experts to ensure accurate and trustworthy AI outputs that can be used by clinicians at the point of care

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks and deploying ML systems in production
• 3+ years experience with modern backend programming (Python/Javascript is preferred)
• Demonstrated success in scaling AI/ML systems from initial launch to high user adoption and traffic
• Proven track record designing and operating production-grade AI/ML systems at scale
• Hands-on experience with GenAI tools including LLM orchestration frameworks, RAG pipelines, and agent-based architectures
• Strong understanding of embedding strategies, vector search, retrieval optimization, and prompt engineering

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with an AI/ML focus
• Prior experience in healthcare, biomedical NLP, or regulated, trust-sensitive domains
• Experience building document-intelligence systems for knowledge extraction, synthesis, or question answering
• Experience in a startup environment
• Experience with GCP and MongoDB
