Art Director – Gaming

We are looking for an Art Director to own the visual vision of our games end-to-end. This role defines, maintains, and elevates the artistic direction across characters, environments, UI, VFX, animation, and marketing assets, ensuring a cohesive and high-quality visual identity that supports gameplay, narrative, and commercial goals.

• Own and define the overall visual direction and artistic vision of the game.
• Translate gameplay, narrative, and product goals into a clear and compelling visual language.
• Ensure consistency and quality across all visual elements, including characters, environments, UI, VFX, animation, and promotional assets.
• Set and maintain art style guides, visual references, and quality benchmarks.
• Lead, mentor, and review the work of internal and external artists.
• Provide clear, actionable feedback and artistic guidance throughout production.
• Collaborate closely with Game Design, Engineering, Product, Production, and Marketing teams.
• Oversee asset creation from concept through final in-game implementation.
• Balance artistic ambition with performance, readability, and technical constraints.
• Support production planning, prioritization, and milestone delivery from an art perspective.
• Review in-engine visuals and ensure assets meet quality, performance, and platform requirements.
• Help define and improve art pipelines, workflows, and best practices.

• 5+ years of experience in game art, including at least 2 years in a lead or art direction role.
• Experience shipping at least one commercial game.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating visual leadership and production-quality work.
• Excellent understanding of composition, color theory, lighting, and visual storytelling.
• Strong eye for gameplay readability and player experience.
• Proven ability to lead artists and make confident creative decisions.
• Strong communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with modern game engines such as Unity or Unreal.
• Understanding of technical constraints, pipelines, and asset optimization.
