Technical Cloud - Team Manager

CONNACT helps technology companies establish, manage and optimize their multi-cloud partnership lifecycles with leading cloud providers – AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud (GCP).

Our focus is on increasing top-line revenue by building scalable sales and technical enablement funnels that leverage the cloud providers’ partner networks, programs, and brand.

As a Technical Cloud – Team Manager, you’ll lead the Technical Cloud

team – the team responsible for connecting the technical and business layers of CONNACT’s cloud partnership through professional services consulting practice.

Your mission is to build and deliver the “Better Together” story for our software cloud partners – combining technical integration, cloud programs and business impact.

You will influence the partnership strategy of startups (or even mature ISVs) as a go-to expert on the technical ecosystem around hyperscaler cloud providers.

You’ll oversee all technical programs and projects across the partnership journey – from pre-sales through delivery and customer success – while managing a team that drives excellence, collaboration and results.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Technical Cloud team, ensuring performance, goal alignment, and continuous improvement across multiple partner engagements.
• Create and maintain the “Better Together” story for specific startups (engaged with CONNACT) and AWS by combining technical use cases, integration narratives, and measurable business outcomes.
• Oversee all technical programs and initiatives (Marketplace onboarding, Competency application, Product Integration, FTR) from our pre-sales through delivery.
• Leverage and maximize cloud provider programs and incentives (funding, technical validations, certifications, etc.) for CONNACT and its clients.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to drive and close new opportunities for CONNACT.
• Work with Marketing to create technical enablement and go-to-market materials aligned with each program or project.
• Coordinate with Cloud Alliance teams to deliver consistent, cross-functional support for customers and partners.
• Manage relationships with cloud and startup technical stakeholders (Partner Solution Architects, Program Managers, CTOs, VP R&Ds) to ensure alignment and access to new opportunities.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience – managing and mentoring technical or cross-functional teams in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong understanding of cloud partnership ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) – including programs, incentives, Marketplace and technical validations (such as AWS FTR and Competency).
• Hands-on experience in technical program or project management, covering the full cycle from presales to delivery.
• Technical background in Cloud Architecture, SaaS, or Integration projects – ability to translate architecture into business value. Broad understanding of Enterprise IT (on Prem and cloud) solutions and deep understanding of 1-2 domains at least (like cyber, AI, data, cloud infra etc)
• Experience working closely with sales and marketing teams, aligning technical activities with go-to-market and revenue goals.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills – ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear, value-driven messages.
• Fluent English – written and spoken, including client-facing and partner-facing communication.

Preferred

• Experience within the Israeli startup ecosystem.
• Hands-on familiarity with AWS / Azure Marketplace integrations.
• Cloud Solution Architect certification (AWS, Azure) or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience managing audits or certification programs (SOC, ISO, etc.).
