Data Center Site Manager – Tel Aviv

Bynet Data Centers is seeking a Data Center Site Manager responsible for the full scope of operations at our facility, including daily operations, infrastructure maintenance, security, regulatory compliance, and communication with clients and vendor.

Job Description:

Overall Site Operations: Ensure continuous and stable 24/7 site operations, meeting strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and uptime metrics.

Critical Infrastructure Management: Supervise and ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of electromechanical systems:

Electrical: UPS systems, generators, electrical panels.

Cooling: HVAC systems, chillers, and climate control.

Safety and Security: Fire suppression systems, access control, and physical security of the facility.

Change Control and Procedures: Implement and enforce structured Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manage change control processes to prevent human error and operational failures.

Emergency Preparedness: Regularly implement and drill Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs), provide engineering, technical, and security responses during emergencies.

Budget and Resource Management: Build the site budget, manage operational expenses (OpEx) and capital expenditures (CapEx), and monitor spending.

Compliance and Regulation: Ensure compliance with quality standards (such as ISO 9001), information security (such as ISO 27001), and strict safety regulations.

Client and Vendor Relations: Manage ongoing relationships with site clients, negotiate with vendors, supervise subcontractors, ensure contracts are in place, and address any gaps or issues with subcontractors as needed.

Requirements:

Certificate or license in electromechanical fields: Certified/Chief Electrician, Electrical/Mechanical/HVAC Engineer or Technician, or equivalent.

In-depth understanding of control and automation systems.

Ability to perform preventive maintenance, quick and efficient repairs, and immediate response to HVAC and electrical system faults.

Experience in maintaining and operating HVAC and electrical systems in complex environments.

At least 3 years of experience in large data centers – a significant advantage.

Excellent management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
