AI Automation Developer

We are looking for a Builder. The technical engine behind the strategy.

Operad is a digital agency with over 17 years of experience working with complex, growth-driven businesses. We are building a focused AI & Business Automation capability designed to solve real sales and marketing challenges through systems, not tactics.

You will be the first dedicated developer joining Operad’s new AI & Business Automation division. While the Lead focuses on architecture and client strategy, your role is pure execution. You are the one connecting the pipes, writing the scripts, and ensuring the machinery actually runs flawlessly.

We don't just "set up Zaps." We build robust, scalable business infrastructures using advanced logic, AI agents, and custom code. If you love taking a complex diagram and turning it into a working reality, this is for you.

You will turn solution architectures into deployed, functional systems. You are responsible for the "How." When we promise a client that their CRM will talk to an AI Agent and then update their outreach platform—you are the one making those data packets fly correctly, securely, and efficiently.

🔹 Build & Implement

• Develop complex workflows on Make.com and n8n. You don’t just drag and drop; you understand the underlying logic, iterators, aggregators, and error handlers.
• Write custom code (JavaScript/Python) within automation nodes to manipulate data, handle complex formatting, or bridge gaps that native integrations can't solve.
• Connect disparate systems via REST APIs, Webhooks, and GraphQL.

🔹 AI Engineering

• Implement AI chains using tools like LangChain, Flowise, or direct OpenAI/Claude API calls.
• Configure and fine-tune AI prompts within workflows to ensure high-quality, consistent outputs for business use cases.

🔹 Database & Data Management

• Structure and maintain databases in Airtable, Postgres, or Google Sheets to serve as the backend for your automations.
• Ensure data hygiene: cleaning, formatting, and validating data as it moves between systems.

🔹 Maintenance & Debugging

• Monitor active scenarios for errors. When something breaks (and it will), you investigate the logs, fix the bug, and build safeguards to prevent it from happening again.
• Optimize workflows for operation costs (reducing "operations" usage) and speed.

• Core Automation: Make.com (Integromat) & n8n – Advanced/Expert. (Knowledge of loops, routers, JSON parsing is a must).
• Coding: Proficiency in JavaScript or Python is required for custom functions.
• API Protocols: Deep understanding of REST, Webhooks, HTTP requests, OAuth, and API authentication methods.
• Data: JSON, XML, RegEx, and SQL basics.
• Tools (Advantage): Clay, Airtable, OpenAI API, Pinecone/Vector DBs.

• Technical Experience: 1-2 years in a technical role (Backend Developer, Automation Specialist, DevOps, or Technical Implementation).
• Problem Solving: You are a troubleshooter at heart. You know how to read documentation independently and figure out why an API call is returning a 400 error.
• Precision: In automation, one wrong variable can break a whole process. You are meticulous and detail-oriented.
• Hunger to Learn: The AI landscape changes weekly. You need to be the person who tries the new tools first.
• Languages: High proficiency in English (for reading documentation and building systems). Hebrew - Native/Fluent.
