Lead Software Engineer

A fast-paced startup based in Ariel is looking for a powerhouse Hands-on Tech Lead to drive the vision of our SaaS product. We are looking for a true partner who lives and breathes code, takes full ownership of the technology stack, and is excited to lead our R&D from the front lines. What You’ll Do:

• Lead the Tech: Take full ownership of the technological roadmap – from architecture and development to production.
• Be the Architect & Builder: Design scalable systems and stay deeply involved in the codebase (High-level Hands-on).
• Team Leadership: Build and manage our development team – from hiring and mentoring to setting high professional standards and ensuring delivery.
• Make Hard Decisions: Determine what we build, what we scrap, and which technologies we adopt to stay ahead.
• Scale & Stability: Ensure our SaaS platform is robust, secure, and ready for massive scale.
• Business Partnership: Work closely with the founders and product team to translate business goals into technical reality.

Requirements:

• The Tech Stack: Proven experience in designing and building scalable architectures. Deep, practical mastery of modern Backend and Frontend frameworks.
• Cloud & DevOps: Hands-on experience with Cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, Containers, K8s).
• The "Firefighter" Mentality: Ability to dive deep into code and solve critical production issues under pressure.
• Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading development teams, hiring talent, and fostering a culture of excellence.
• Startup DNA: You understand the trade-offs between "perfect code" and "time to market." You are a self-starter who gets things done.

Big Plus if You Have:

• Background in building or scaling SaaS platforms from scratch.
• Experience in high-growth environments.
