HW/SW System Engineer

Product / System Engineer for the development of multidisciplinary electro-mechanical consumer products

Role Objective:

Lead the end-to-end development of a multidisciplinary product — from concept and system architecture through integration, verification, and transfer to mass production.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead system engineering within the core product team
• Translate marketing & user needs into measurable system specifications
• Define and assess architecture and configuration alternatives (CBA)
• Guide electronics, software and mechanical teams to ensure cohesive design
• Drive integration, reliability planning, verification and risk management
• Lead design-to-cost and design-for-manufacturing considerations
• Manage project knowledge and support systematic transfer to mass production

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Electronics / Mechanical / Systems Engineering — must
• M.Sc. — advantage (Systems / Electronics / Mechatronics)
• Proven experience leading at least one multidisciplinary electro-mechanical or consumer product from requirements to mass production — must
• System-level ownership: architecture, integration, interfaces, verification, risk & reliability
• Experience working with manufacturing, suppliers and external partners (local & abroad)
• Advantage: familiarity with embedded / control / sensing (guiding experts — not necessarily hands-on)
