Backend Chapter Leader / Backend Team Lead

We are looking for a Backend Chapter Leader / Backend Team Lead to join a growing technology group delivering complex, large-scale systems for business customers.

This role combines hands-on backend development with technical leadership and mentoring, in a highly collaborative environment working closely with product, architecture, and engineering teams.

• Lead and mentor a backend development team, supporting professional growth and technical excellence
• Design and develop backend services based on microservices architecture
• Take part in technical decision-making, including tools, technologies, and frameworks
• Work hands-on with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Kafka, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, architects, system analysts, and business stakeholders
• Ensure high code quality, performance, scalability, and implementation of best practices
  

• 4+ years of backend development experience in complex systems
• Experience leading or mentoring developers (formal leadership experience is an advantage)
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Experience working with Microservices and Messaging systems (Kafka / ActiveMQ)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Jenkins
• Solid understanding of system architecture, design patterns, and RESTful APIs
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
