Job description

Seeking an experienced Electro-Optical System Engineer for a leading global provider of air defense systems and integrated solutions for governments and military organizations.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating advanced electro-optical systems for airborne applications, working closely with cross-functional teams.

Location: Herzliya | Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and integrate electro-optical systems for aerial platforms
• Design and optimize algorithms for signal processing and system performance
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams from prototype to installation
• Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting of EO systems

Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical/Optical Engineering
• MBA in Electrical/Optical Engineering – advantage
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electro-optical systems (must)
• Experience with infra-red systems – significant advantage
• Proficiency in MATLAB or Python for algorithm development or signal processing (must) Experience with airborne systems design – significant advantage
• Military background in IDF technological units – advantage
• Fluent in English Strong interpersonal skills and team player
