Automation Engineer

Automation Engineer (TypeScript + Playwright) | Tel Aviv (Hybrid)

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing
• Write high-quality automation using TypeScript/Node.js and Playwright
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
• Work closely with R&D, Product, and DevOps to improve testability and automation coverage
• Analyze failures, debug issues, and drive root-cause resolution
• Define automation strategy and best practices to improve reliability and scalability

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years in test automation or software development with a strong quality mindset
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript / Node.js
• Proven experience with Playwright (or similar modern frameworks)
• Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions)
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies and automation patterns
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, scalable code

Nice to have

• API testing experience
• Cloud familiarity (AWS/Azure)
• Docker / container environments
• Agile/Scrum experience
