Embedded Software Engineer (Real-Time / Embedded Linux)

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join our software development team.

The role involves developing real-time embedded software for complex systems, working in Bare-Metal, FreeRTOS, and Embedded Linux environments.

You will collaborate closely with system, hardware, and multidisciplinary teams and take responsibility for software specification, design, implementation, testing, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop embedded software for real-time systems (Bare-Metal, FreeRTOS, Embedded Linux)
• Design, implement, and maintain software modules in C/C++
• Work closely with system and hardware engineers on requirements and integration
• Interface with various hardware components such as sensors, communication modules, and FPGA
• Participate in full software lifecycle: specification, development, testing, and documentation
• Maintain and improve existing codebase according to evolving requirements
• Collaborate as part of an Agile development team

Mandatory:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering / Electronics
• 5+ years of experience in RT Embedded software development (C / C++)
• Experience developing multi-disciplinary products and/or IoT systems
• Hands-on experience working with and without an operating system
• Experience with hardware interfaces and protocols:
• UART, USB, Ethernet (LAN), I2C, SPI, sensors, FPGA
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work intensively when required
• Willingness to learn and maintain existing codebases

Advantages:

• Strong experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers
• Familiarity with MCU/SoC families: ST (STM32), Microchip, TI, Atmel
• Experience with Embedded Linux development
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies
