Project Configuration Manager

We are looking for a Configuration Manager to join an Engineering and Systems manufacturing organization within the Foreign Trade Division. This role supports complex engineering projects in a multidisciplinary environment.

The position includes:

• Responsibility for project configuration control, engineering documentation, and supervision

• Work in a Configuration Management and PLM environment

• Preparation of the project Configuration Management Plan

• Control of information integrity of deliverables prior to system release, including documents, drawings, and change records

• Establishment and management of project product trees

• Management of product changes, Engineering Change Orders, coordination of Change Control Boards, and approval processes

• Generation of periodic configuration status reports

• Delivery of training sessions for employees

What we’re looking for:

• Degree or practical engineering qualification in Industrial Engineering and Management, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering, mandatory

• Experience working with or implementing a PLM system, mandatory

• At least two years of experience working with information systems including ERP, PDM, and SAP, mandatory

• Experience in electronic or mechanical design, advantage

• Experience in building and maintaining product trees, advantage

• Experience as a quality auditor, advantage

• High level of English proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and presenting, mandatory

• Strong ability to integrate and coordinate between multiple stakeholders

• System level thinking and analytical perspective

• Strong technical aptitude

Configuration Management is a central professional domain within the Engineering and Systems organization, providing engineering development and support across all business units in the Foreign Trade Division. The role involves participation in leading edge, large scale, and innovative projects. The selected candidate will take part in the implementation of a new PLM system and in the division transition to advanced digital tools, with exposure to all factories and projects from development through delivery to the customer.
